These Ice cream Cupcakes are pretty easy to make and something I generally include in my list of party foods. They look like ice cream, which the kids love, but there’s no issue with them melting!
Here is how to make these Ice cream Cupcakes :.
Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes
What you need: 1 chocolate packet cake mix
Follow the instructions on the cake mix to make the cake.
Spoon in 1 1/2 large tablespoon of cake mix into each cone.
Arrange the cones in a cake tin standing up, be very careful transferring the tin to the oven to ensure you don’t knock over the cones!
Place the tin in a preheated oven to 180c , cook for 30min (keep a careful eye on them so they don’t burn.)
Take them out once they are ready and allow to cool.
Butter cream Icing
2 1/2 cups Icing sugar (sifted)
185 g Softened Butter
2 tablespoons milk
To make the butter cream Icing
Mix the softened butter for about five minutes or until light in colour.
Gradually add the icing sugar as you mix, then add the milk.
Mix until all ingredients are combined.
Place the icing in a piping bag
Pipe the icing like a soft serve ice cream
Add 100 and 1000’s
