Download and print out the template on thick card stock.
- Starting from the outer edge of the starfish, roll small balls of plasticine and press them onto the card.
- Work all the way around the starfish.
- Add a new inner row with a different colour of plasticine.
- Keep adding new rows until the whole jellyfish is filled up with plasticine.
One variation is to add different patterns to the starfish with plasticine. Or perhaps you can create a face. The ideas are endless!
My son didn’t want to use plasticine. He decided to try a technique called pointillism. He made lots of dots using different coloured felt pens on his starfish.
